[Akira's face is turning a shade nearly as red as her hair.]

Yes? I mean. Uhm. That is. I.

[Yeah, her ability to words is kind of broken right now.]

Are you okay?

[Somehow, Yukari manages to say that so casually, even as Akira is having a freak out in front of her.]

Do you need some water?

Maybe?!

[Akira brings a hand to her forehead, as things start to sink in finally.]

You. You like me. You like me back.

[This is a very mature and adult conversation they are having.]

That is what I said, yes.

I... I...

[Akira smiles, but at the same time, she's also starting to tear up. She holds onto Yukari's hand with both of her own and squeezes it tightly.]

Yukari... I don't know what to say!

I think this is the part where you're supposed to ask me out on a date.

...But then, I suppose we already are on one.

I... I suppose we are?

[She laughs, but it's quite nervous-sounding.]

Is it strange that I've never actually intentionally gone on a date before? The closest things are that shopping trip we got tricked into... and a few times I went on outings and didn't realize were dates...

[Yukari hums to herself, thoughtfully, and her eyes drift away from Akira to their surroundings. The cafe is certainly nice, but...]

...Hmmm. You should pay for what you ordered now.

[...What's with that conspiratorial tone in her voice?]

... Is it? And hm?

[She tilts her head to the side.]

I paid when she brought it out... what are you up to, Yukari?

[Yukari giggles slightly and pushes her chair back, standing up, then making her way over to Akira in one fluid motion.]

Come on. Let's go somewhere.

Eh? Right now? But-

[Akira stopped short of finishing. Her not being spontaneous... that had been what held her back for so long, hadn't it?]

Sure! [She stood up and offered Yukari both her hand and a charming smile.] I'll follow you anywhere, my dear.

[Yukari takes Akira's hand without a moment's hesitation, of course, and steps backwards a little, urging her to stand up and follow.]

Aren't you charming? [Another giggle. She turns around, looking back over her shoulder at Akira and winking.] Come on, then!

[And the moment Akira stands up, Yukari will start moving. And... fast, actually. Better keep up, Akira.]

[Akira laughs, holding tightly onto Yukari's hand and running along with her. She's never had much trouble keeping up with Yukari, but she's happy to let her lead the way right now.]

So.... where are we going?

Who knows? Let's find out, shall we?

[There's no set destination. The plan here is to simply go until something pops out. But as it so happens, it seems they're headed towards the park. Now that seems as good of a destination as any.]

Ah... that's really spontaneous, I suppose?

[Nevertheless, she follows along happily, eventually falling in step beside her. Ah... they look just like a couple, don't they?

Eventually, she realizes where they are.]

Ah, uhm... how do you feel about a walk in the park?

It's fun sometimes, just letting your whims guide you. If everything is the way you expect it to go, then... things will just get boring, right?

[Never as boring as before they all met anymore, of course. Not again. But sometimes she still likes to push things a little. Force a little extra happiness out of the universe.]

I agree. Really... you were the first one to get me to come out of my shell that way, Yukari. Just going by what I wanted to do, instead of thinking about what others wanted from me.

[Akira nodded, and pulled her towards it.]

It is a pretty lovely day. I think you can appreciate places like this better on days like this.

You're too responsible sometimes. Well. It's not something I dislike about you, of course. But I'm just glad you started deciding more on your own, too.

[She's pulled along very easily. It is very nice today.]

Hm. I think it just got even lovelier, though. Now that we're both here.

[Akira couldn't help but laugh again.]

Clearly. Though... you're the most lovely of all, Yukari.

[That came out more awkward that normal. Apparently, Akira isn't as good at being charming when she means it than when she's just being herself.]

I get that a lot.

[Of course she does. She even flips her hair a little as emphasis.]

...But you know, I think I like hearing it from you the most.

... Well, depending on how things go, you might hear it a lot more!

[That came out sounding more sure of herself. She did fell her heart flutter a bit as Yukari flipped her hair, though.]

You know, I'm feeling a bit nostalgic too. I wonder if Pekorin and Chourou still have it located here. I haven't been in a while...

Oh my. Are you hoping that flattery will get you everywhere?

[Goodness, you two, you really can't dial it down, huh?]

Hm... Well, wondering won't tell us. Let's go see.
