There's more silence, because Heart is so conflicted. His morals and his loyalty directly opposed, not to mention all the other feelings distracting him. Not at all helped by the fact that it's a little hard to think when he's still damaged.

I don't need help to bring about an endless night and the end of my brother's bloodline. And I really don't think you care nearly so much about a daemon wearing a human's face that you'd sell out the world for it.
